RentStack wasn’t dreamed up in a tech office. It came from years of doing the work: collecting rent, handling repairs and keeping track of leases for real rental properties.
How it started
For more than 15 years, we’ve helped family and other self-managing landlords run their properties. The same problems came up every month: rent arriving through five different apps, repair calls at 9pm, and lease dates buried in a spreadsheet.
The software out there was either built for big property management companies, or it looked cheap until the add-ons piled up. So we built RentStack for the landlords those tools forgot, drawing on our background in real estate and software.
